and while it may not have been completely historically accurate, it got the basic story right, so I was happy

He has a law degree from Glasgow University, but gave up on this career choice after being fired from a law firm just one week before he was qualified to practice law.
Was chosen as the most attractive man of 2005 by Hello! Magazine
Prefers to be called Gerry. He does this because he notices that many people (especially Americans) struggle with pronouncing "Gerard".
His favorite actor is Christian Bale.
