I have a suggestion for this board, so I figured I can put it here?

Since campaign threads are now needed on every poll option, sometimes they can be hard to find. Is there any way possible for there to be a Campaign Thread board guide? I know that would take A LOT of work, but maybe it only has to have the current poll options on it? I don't know.. just an idea.

Yeah, the poll guide used to be topped, but I haven't really had the time to keep it up to date... whether it just included the ones for that month or not, not everything would make it and some things wouldn't get submitted again. The only thing I can suggest other than having a new board guide would be to either bookmark the campaign threads you're interested in or put them in your signature, or use the option to track them in your profile.

I'm surprised that there is no Alternates yet for Celebrity.

I hope you don't mind Johnny, but I went through every page and tried to make up a more detailed board guide.

I could request an Alternate for celebrity, what does it mean though?

I would request Kate Hudson and would i need a campaign?

You must start the campaign thread, if there already isn't one, and then submit your request.

At this time, there is NOT a Kate Hudson campaign thread as I have just redone a new Board Guide and did not find one.

So you need to start one and then RE-SUBMIT Kate Hudson.

REGARDING ALTERNATE:

If a celebrity who has been submitted and is on the current poll, as well as the submissions list for the next poll, they could receive a board based on the votes. If that happens and they are on the submissions list. The first alternate will take it's place in the poll to ensure that there are still 25 celebrities to vote from.

You can't submit Kate Hudson though as you already submitted Full House.

Any submissions here should not be edited, if you mis-spelled something please on this rare occasion double post rather than edit it (it might bring up the edit message) As I don't want to be working on an update and have things changed around. If a post is edited the submission won't be accepted and you'll need to resubmit it after an update is done.

Submissions will close on 07-29-2008 at 04:25 PM (Atlantic Standard Time)

Hello everyone!

Starting August 1, 2008 we will be running the next set of monthly polls in this forum. Requests must be made by the closing time of the July polls to be included in these polls.

We will accept requests for Celebrities, Music Artists, and Television Shows in this thread.

Please note that you can only submit/renew one request per month for which there must be a campaign thread prior to submitting (for which posts must be recent), and you must have 500 or more posts at Fan Forum for it to be accepted. Also, we will only accept the first 25 Requests per category, requests made after this limit is reached will be used as alternates in case some of the first 25 requests get cut. Please think about what you want to request carefully before requesting as submissions won't be changed. Only a maximum of two boards will be added each month and they have to be from different categories. Any submission that gets 10 votes or less can't be submitted again for 3 months, in this case an Alternate will be used in the order they become Alternates to replace them on the poll.

Requests must be made before the end of each month (by poll closing time) to ensure that they are added to the polls the following month. If a request does not win in a poll, it needs to be renewed in this thread before being added to the polls again. Requests in pink are boards that have been a part of Fan Forum at some point in time but have been closed.

Please consider the following factors before submitting a request:

1) Will you post on the board you are suggesting on a regular basis?
2) Do you think there is a fanbase for what you are requesting (threads in other forums, active topics, etc.)
