A few of the newer and most notable tidbits from the set can be read below (again, all spoilers for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

SPOILER - The film begins with "a very powerful, dynamic action sequence" in which Grindelwald escapes from the American wizarding authorities.
SPOILER - The reason the movie takes place in Paris is because Credence escapes from NYC to the French capital, and everyone's out to find him. Katherine Waterston explains that Tina Goldstein is obsessed in finding him, and that Credence (Ezra Miller) has become her Achilles heel.
SPOILER - Newt's back in London because of the release of the first edition of his book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and according to Eddie Redmayne, Newt loathes the celebrity life. He'd rather be back in NYC and with Tina.
SPOILER - More is learned about Bunty, Newt's assistant, who is obsessed with the magical creatures... and perhaps a bit with him, too. Bunty is played by British actress Victoria Yeates.
SPOILER - With the appearance of Nicolas Flamel (Brontis Jodorowsky) in the sequel, guess what else pops up in the movie? Yes, the Philosopher's Stone, though different than that seen in the first Harry Potter movie 17 years ago.

The second set visit has a few more spoilers, including that the sequel takes place six months after the events in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which can be read below for those interested.

SPOILER - According to the report, Grindelwald's escape from MACUSA, under the eye of President Seraphina Picquery (Carmen Ejogo) will be during his transfer to Europe. After his escape, he heads to Paris to gather more followers and warriors.
SPOILER - Credence's survival was done in a more 'painful' way, and the new Credence in the sequel is more sure of himself, and determined to find out who he is. When returning to his old home to find out his history, he sees clues that lead him to Paris, and that's why he heads to France. There, he joins Circus Arcanus.
SPOILER - The relationship between Newt and Theseus Scamander, which isn't the greatest, according to producer David Heyman: "Theseus is a man of the Ministry and Newt is a rebel because he has not joined his cause and there is an antipathy between them. But at the same time they are brothers, they have a story and they have a love for each other undeniable."
SPOILER - Redmayne teased that there is more to the relationships in the series, between Newt and Tina (who do of course eventually get married), his brother Theseus and his fiance Leta Lestrange (whom Newt fancied as a teen at Hogwarts).

Steph, sorry I thought you knew that Newt & Tina are endgame. They are Rolf Scamander's grandparents. He eventually marries Luna Lovegood so Newt & Tina are related to Luna via her marriage to Rolf.

Eddie Redmayne teased what's set to come in November's release of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald with international media - many of which released teasers of their set reports and interviews - from the Leavesden set last year.

One outlet in particular published Redmayne's full interview from the set - on a day he was not filming in October 2017 - and the plot- and character-development-filled spoilers he revealed during that. The full interview is at the source, and new tidbits of spoilers are below.

SPOILER - Redmayne mentions that because of the success of his book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the popularity of his nifflers, there is now an illegal trade of the creatures.
SPOILER - Redmayne said he filmed a book signing scene for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in London, but will only be used for newspaper clippings and photos in the sequel.
SPOILER - The sequel will take place over a longer period of time (not much longer, Redmayne noted) than the length the first installment (which was just a few short days in December 1926).
SPOILER - The first time Newt is featured in the sequel he is "surrounded by bureaucracy," so presumably he may be in the British Ministry of Magic, which he finds immensely uncomfortable.
SPOILER - Newt's London apartment is pretty simple... until one visits the basement, which is an underground extension of his magical suitcase, full of magical creatures. Here, his assistant Bunty helps him take care of his creatures while he's away on his global adventures.
SPOILER - While the movie is focused on finding Credence in Paris, Redmayne mentions that Newt won't have time to venture around the French capital like he did with New York City in the first movie, as there's more of a sense of urgency in his goal.
SPOILER - Redmayne talks about the friendship between Newt and Jacob (he couldn't say what brought him back to the story, or Paris), which plays like 'a little love story' that expands into yet another adventure.
SPOILER - Redmayne confirms that while he did not shoot any scenes at Hogwarts, he did get the visit the set and check out the classrooms.
SPOILER - Redmayne delves into the relationship between brothers Newt and Theseus Scamander - who are total opposites, though noted that while the latter is a war hero and Auror, "he is a damaged man."
SPOILER - Redmayne stated that J.K. Rowling told him and Katherine Waterston that their characters' love story would indeed be a slow one, spanning the entire series.

Yeah there will be lots of set visits/interviews that will be posted online in the next months. That's usual for this movie franchise even during HP. So we just have to be careful in posting news and I can always double check them so most of us here will remain spoiler-free.

Nope, they didn't. This was all after DH when fans asked what happened to the other characters and Jo mentioned that Luna married Rolf Scamander.

Now that we know so much more about Newt, thanks to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), it carries extra weight that Luna married into the Scamander family. They were both Magizoologists and went ‘globetrotting and looking for weird creatures’, which makes total sense for an animal-loving outsider like Luna. In a Bloomsbury webchat, J.K. Rowling confirmed that Luna ‘discovered and classified many new species of animals (though, alas, she never did find a Crumple-Horned Snorkack and had, finally, to accept that her father might have made that one up)’. It’s a bittersweet moment as we’re thrilled for Luna, but rather sad that Crumple-Horned Snorkacks aren’t real.
