This was Emmy's first live television performance to promote Phantom of the Opera in 2004
In late 2007 Emmy recorded three Christmas carols as an EP called Carol of the Bells. it's available on iTunes and Amazon MP3 Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas O Holy Night (not the best angle in the video) This was a song that Emmy recorded in 2009 exclusively for the Panasonic Viera Demo Disc. It was used in stores that were trying to sell the product: In December 2007 Emmy was a performer at the Teddy Bear Ball, a fundraiser to support The Help Group, which serves children with special needs (autism, developmental delays, emotional problems etc.) and runs several schools, therapy services and parent education and training. Here she is performing "Over the Rainbow" with the Help Group choir: In this 2008 appearance on the Bonnie Hunt show, Emmy was told that she would participate in a Breast Cancer fundraiser in which she was told that she would have to use a hammer to hit a platform that, if she hit it hard enough would ring a bell (like a strongman game). If she hit it money would be donated breast cancer research. However when she got on the show Bonnie surprised her by asking her to hit a high note for charity instead: And no she didn't really break Bonnie's glasses. That was a joke for the show. Bonnie switched them quickly and there was a sound effect in the background. In 2009 Emmy toured as special guest with Counting Crows Travelling Circus and Medicine Show. Basically the Crows played with other artists Augustana, Michael Franti & Spearhead, all playing each others music and backing each other up. In performances Emmy sang two songs Angel From Montgomery- this was her first performance and she had about 10 minutes to rehearse the song prior to the show. Goin' Back to Georgia Here are some pics from various other performances that Emmy did on that tour Emmy's sang the National Anthem at several sporting events. Here she is in 2011 singing at the NASCAR Subway Fresh Fit 500 Here is Emmy singing "All That Jazz" (a song she'd never sung before) at the opening of the JW Mariott in Chicago This is a personal favorite. It's not every day you hear someone sing Puccini for a hot dog on live TV. Sadly there isn't any video of this performance but Emmy sang with the Boston Pops at a special holiday performance at the Boston Children's Hospital |

She said on Instagram that she doesn't know when it'll air yet. But she's usually good about keeping people in the loop via facebook/twitter/instagram so hopefully when she does find out she'll let us know

A few more songs.
This a song that Dolly Parton wrote for herself and Emmy to sing on the OST for the film Songcatcher. (2000) It's not in the film but it is on the OST Here's a pic (Emmy is about 13-14 here) These songs are from a 2003 film that Emmy did called Nola. Both are on the OST, which is out of print and hard to find (occasionally it'll turn up on ebay This one is called "Street of Dreams". It starts about 1:00 into the video The one is called "Don't Break My Heart" Emmy's featured on this song, which was a bonus track on Alex Band's album We've All Been There. It's called "Cruel One" This is a song that was an itunes bonus track on her first album, Inside Out. So unless you have the itunes version of the album you probably don't have it: |

Emmy's had a busy week.
First she took a road trip to Utah to visit the Best Friends Animal Society's animal sanctuary: When she got there she spent some time hanging with the animals at the shelter When she returned home she and her friends went to Coachella: |

In 2008 Emmy did a Q&A with a fan site where fans submitted questions and she answered them on video.
I don't know if she got to all of the questions submitted but it was nice of her to do. |
