I'm on episode 9 (I think). My nieces came to spend the night so I had to put it on hold.

On episode 10 now.

It's so sad what happened in Emily's storyline. As for the show while I did find it slow in some parts I think I liked it overall. But I will admit it's probably not show I would find myself wanting to watch over and over.

Oh no. I think we all knew her story was going to be sad but I don't know if I'm ready for it.

I haven't gotten to watch more today. How big would you say her role is? Do you think she could come back if there was a season 2?

I like Homeland and Messiah is kind of like that so I'm enjoying it. It also has some great production value and that always counts for quite a bit with me.

Just saw Emily in Messiah for the first time! She wasn't in the ep a whole lot but boy, did she make an impact. I just want everything to be okay for Staci and Raeah.

She's not really in it that much imo but her storyline really packs a punch. It really hit me. I don't think you're going to be ready for it.

Based on how it ended (overall storyline) I could see a chance for her coming back. Even if just for one episode. It's hard to explain without giving anything away though. I'll spoiler tag just in case you do want to know.

So the end (at least maybe of S1) Staci's storyline it looked to me like her daughter died.

It seemed like the last episode was really ramping it up that he wasn't a Messiah but a fraud (or maybe the anti Christ) and then he gets in a plan crash with one of the other characters and the Messiah guy is ok and it seems he brings the other character back to live. I did think the other character was dead and then he starts to gasp and I'm like oh ok never mind. But then a little boy who saw it asked how the other guy (Messiah dude) brought him back to life. So if this guy really is the Messiah or even the anti Christ maybe he could bring Staci's daughter back too. And if he did I could see them coming back for a S2. Or maybe the guy didn't do anything and the other guy just wasn't dead. I don't know.

Though even if her daughter doesn't come back Staci and maybe even the husband might come back to rally against him. I don't know though.

To add to your theory. I read something about all the character names having a religious connection so I looked up the name Staci and the very first thing that you find is that it means "Resurrection" . There wasn't too much on Raeah but I found something that said it meant "Friend". It sorta seems like they should switch names but maybe that would be too obvious?

Or we're just used to the walking dead that we look for meaning in things when there is none.

Oh that is so cool about what Staci means and it is really interesting with my theory. Yeah I think if the daughters name was that it would be too obvious. But then again it may not mean anything. But I think it would seem a little weird they just happen to give her character that name. And while she may not resurrect her daughter might.

That could be it.

I want to hug her character. She looks so pretty in that gif.

Yeah, it could go either way but that does seem to be a really big coincidence.

She looks great on the show. So pretty. And I know agewise it works but there's still a part of me thinking that she is too damn young to have a child that old.
