A big part of my 2018 was releasing a new album, Oh, Jonathan, and going on tour. There were a lot of amazing things about it and a lot of hard things tbh, but I’m so very proud of ’Oh, Jonathan’ and my journey as a songwriter and so happy I got to meet so many music fans on tour this year. I think I read before the album was out her favorite was Mortal. I'm either remembering wrong or fave changed. Either way I wonder why Same Mistakes is her favorite. I wonder what about it makes her like it above the rest. Probably something simple like she just does.

I'm not sure but I do think she mentioned a favourite song in an interview. I don't remember what it was but it being Mortal sounds familiar.

Same Mistakes is so gorgeous. One of my favourite songs as well.

I mean it doesn't matter either way of course but if it did change I would love to know why. And if ti was always Same Mistakes I would still love to know. I figure as the artist and song writer her liking of it may go deeper.

Mine too and not just on the album. I don't know if I ever ever rank all of her songs but Same Mistakes is definitely one of my top favorites.
