True. I mentioned it in the other thread but my best guess is that they just wanted to help sell the movie by showing as much as possible.
that's they case. I would be okay with Christmas then. How do you do it? Don't you guys still have Thanksgiving coming over there? __________________

Yeah probably.
Yes bring on the song! I really hope it's more than one. Yeah we still haven't even got to our Thanksgiving yet. It was kind of weird to see them on tv before Halloween. Like I get it that once November gets here things might go a little Christmas-y but that was something else. |

Seeing Christmas stuff before Halloween is so weird, heck before Thanksgiving is weird imo. I don't know how you guys do it. Makes me thankful we have our Thanksgiving in October.
The Christmas song is part of a benefit album for Musicians Corner in Nashville. Details here: Plus a pic of Emily and Paul working on it. __________________

Kay - I'm use to it before Thanksgiving but before Halloween was weird to even me. I wish ours was in October.
Oh that's awesome. I was wondering if it would be a single they just did or part of something like this. Was hoping for a small Christmas album but a benefit album is great. Here's the song list. Also it will be released Nov 30. 1. Lera Lynn - I'll Be Home For Christmas 2. Sun Seeker - Christmas Clown 3. The Sweetheart Deal (Paul McDonald and Emily Kinney) - Jingle Bells 4. Tristen - O Holy Night 5. Kyshona - Maybe By Christmas 6. Molly Parden - In Tennessee Time 7. Becca Mancari - Joy To The World 8. Amber Rubarth - It Came Upon The Midnight Clear 9. The Daybreaks - I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day 10. Matthew Perryman Jones - Auld Lang Syne 11. Angel Snow - Silent Night |

Fall is my favorite season so as soon as fall hits I'm ready.
You're welcome. You made it easy to find as I just visited the instagram of the top one you posted. So how do you feel about their song being Jingle Bells? I wonder if they chose it or it was given to them. |

Fall is my favourite season too but Thanksgiving just helps put me in the mood.
Well, thank you for bringing it over anyways. I'm pretty indifferent about Jingle Bells. I like it but it's kind of a bland choice although I'm still excited to see what Paul and Emily do with it. __________________

Y'alls Thanksgiving is earlier in October right? I can definitely see why it would be like now Thanksgiving is here I can officially claim it feels like fall.
You're welcome. My feelings are mixed. Like Jingle Bells is such a quintessential Christmas song and probably one of the first Christmas songs that pop into my head. But overall it's kind of a blah choice as it's very repetitive and not much to it. So I am little disappointed it isn't another song. From the song list I would have loved to hear them do I'll Be Home For Christmas (and for Emily to solo O Holy Night). However no matter my thoughts I know I will love their version and will be blasting it all through December. |

Yeah it's the second Monday in October. It does really help makes it official.
It seems like the album went with more old school, classic Christmas songs. I like Jingle Bells but I do love your idea of I'll Be Home for Christmas. That would have been cool. Either way I can't wait to listen to their song. __________________

Still wishing ours was then.
Yeah that's true. I think that song would have been perfect for them to duet. But yeah same. Either way I am super excited for it and will listen to it on repeat once I have it. |

It's great. I also like that we have more time in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Although I'm not sure what Christmas Clown is. I actually don't listen to that much Christmas music except on the 25th but I would definitely listen to any that Emily released to put me in the mood. __________________
