ANother vampire show!

It's fine with me as I love my vamps.
However, is this show not a short lived series? 13 weeks and when it is over another like show will take its place? I read a rumor like that and do not know the truth.

The trailer is so deliciously steampunk. It has captured my attention.

Dracula's premier is Oct. 25 following Grimm's. As of now, it's set for 10 episodes before the mid-season break, and will be followed in the second half of Grimm's season by Crossbones starring John Malkovich as Blackbeard the Pirate. Anyway, that's the latest I've read about it.
