I don't watch major crimes, but I watched the episode for Chris. He's the main focus. It's another sociopath role, and we all know he plays those kinds of parts so well.

His character in TVD actually made me start to really take interest in the series again, but the lead writer really knows how to screw the good characters.

I would have LOVED to see him developed more. He had so much possibility.

i felt the same way about tvd. he was the whole reason to watch. i hate that they killed him off

He was killed off way to easily. It was sloppy writing in the end. They could have done so much more with his character. I want to say he had a lead role in another CW series produced by Julie, but it didn't get picked up. Then there was Containment, so in order to make that work he probably had to choose. We'll never know if there could have been more Kai.

Kai was such a likable villain. TVD does that a lot. They did it with Klaus as well. Hell, Klaus got his own spin off. They could have given Kai more then turning into a vampire and the getting killed 2 seconds later. Even if he was going to be on another show.
