Since the place the show takes place in is North Dakota (filming is actually in Utah of course) I wonder if our characters would know any Canadians? It be cool if they made references to Regina, Saskatoon, or Weyburn in Saskatchewan; or Winnipeg or Brandon in Manitoba, since those cities are located in the provinces that border with the US state of North Dakota.

Aurora Perrineau has joined ABC drama series Blood & Oil as a series regular in a recasting. She will play Lacey Briggs, the beautiful daughter of oil tycoon Hap Briggs (Don Johnson), a child he had out of wedlock. Perrineau replaces Caitlin Carver, who played the role in the pilot. Blood & Oil examines the biggest oil discovery in American history, which has triggered a geopolitical shift and an economic boom in North Dakota on a scale not seen since the 1849 California Gold Rush. deadline
