I tried multiple times to watch the first ep, but I just.. I couldn't get through it.
I didn't really know much about Aidan Turner. I could try watching more eps than just the first one. Maybe I can get more into it as I get further down the line?

maybe cause you guys started with the US one. It probably works better the other way round.

Also, it helps if you like Aidan Turner from Poldark or The Hobbit. Do you know the US version's main character was named after him?

^ I do know him from The Hobbit He was amazing in there. And nope I didn't know that, but it did interest me that they had the same names.
And actually, I started to try the UK version before I watched the US one. But since I couldn't watch more, I just went with the US one.

But knowing the UK version throughout the whole thing, would be better. Does it have the same ending as the US one?

Not at all. Unfortunately they could not have a proper ending cause Aidan left to film that very Hobbit trilogy

Being Human UK does have a very British feel to it, I'm sometimes surprised actually any non-British person can get into it

Oh so it is a worse ending... or..?

Well the British feel isn't really what bothered me I can get into things that are out of my country. Doctor Who was good.

non-ending, really. After Aidan left, the rest of the cast trickled away too and the whole thing just fell apart.

^ I'm the same.
I do love Aidan Turner though from the other things I saw him in (I still didn't know much about him though). And I'm not sure if I've seen the actress who plays Annie in anything, but I liked her from what I saw of her.

But I'm gonna try to force myself to watch the UK one. Even if I prefer the US one.

I'm the same. But I feel like I'm missing part of this.. if I don't even know what the UK one is like. Cuz it seems quite different.

the tone and setting is different, the storyline is the same, at least the first season or so. And let's not forget, the UK one was first, it's what the other one is based on.

Both have their own merits I think and I'm open to discussing both

Yeah, I know the UK version was first but for some reaso. It just doesn't excite me like the US version does.

I think it's the storyline.. since it's a little different. And I don't really know the actors that play in it. Aidan Turner I know a little, but for the most part I don't know them.
I do, however, know all the actors who play in the US one, and for some reason the US version seemed more interesting to me. It's not because I'm from the US, but just because it just was better IMO. I loved the characters, actors, storylines, setting.. pretty much everything. And the storyline from the US one might be based on the UK one, but there's some little differences from what I saw of it.

But each person has their own preferences So it's okay.
