I watched repeats. When it started I was 5/6 years old, so I didn't have much interest. Then I was at my cousins and Susan was at home starting dinner, she turned on the tv and there it was and I must say I enjoyed the little I saw at her house and watched it from then onward.

I must say I didn't like Sara (I liked Felicity and Felix) but rewatching the episodes recently I found Sarah Polley was quite talented.

I loved Anne of Green Gables too. Megan Follows guest-starred on a show called Made in Canada, there were thoughts that a charatcer was based on Kevin Sullivan, and Megan Follows played an actress who starred on a period drama tv series, she came back and blamed the character for her ruined childhood.

Okay, here we go "He has the sexual magnetism of a Robert Lantos, the good looks and intellect of Michael Donovan, the corporate structure of Michael McMillan's Alliance Atlantis and the production ideas of Kevin Sullivan." So yeah, I cracked the hell up seeing Megan Follows in that role.

Janet- Me too. I started catching via the dvds. I especially like the early seasons. Sarah Polley is very talented. I liked the entire King family.

That is hilarious. I haven't seen Megan in many of her other roles but to me she will always be Anne Shirley. That synopsis you described actually sounds like Sarah Polley's experience.

I've only seen her in a handful of roles that were not Anne Shirley. I saw her in Made in Canada, Law and Order, and this tv movie in which she played a reporter in the 1920s (I'm thinking it's The Stork Derby). Actually looking at her IMDb profile, I've seen her in other things (CSI, and another movie called Booky and the Secret Santa).

Still though, I will always think of the slate scene when I think of Megan Follows.

Did ya'll know Schuyler Grant's great aunt was Katherine Hepburn? Also KH was approached to play the role of Marilla. I'm kinda glad she turned down the role.

My other favorite Megan movie is Under the Piano. She is amazing as Rose, a metally chanllenged girl. She so good that it was scarey.
