First published in 1908 by Lucy Maud Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables and its subsequent sequels, became one of the most popular book series of the 20th century. After a few low key attempts at bringing the story to the big screen, Kevin Sullivan directed Anne in a 1985 miniseries, starring Megan Follows in the title role. Due to the immense popularity other Montgomery works were explored including Road to Avonlea, which ran from 1989-1996. This is a campaign for the books: Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island ,Anne of Windy Poplars, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley, Rilla of Ingleside , Kilmeny of the Orchard , The Story Girl, The Golden Road, Emily of New Moon, Emily Climbs, Jane of Lantern Hill,Chronicles of Avonlea,and Further Chronicles of Avonlea. The movies: Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel, Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing Story, Anne of Green Gables: A New Beginning, and Jane of Lantern Hill. and the television series: Road To Avonlea, Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series, and Emily of New Moon.
