Truly. It's fun to see people now start their ATLA journey and them knowing people adore Zuko and then seeing him in the first episode.

As frustrating as it was, I love that he hadn't sided with Team Avatar yet at the end of season two. I love that we got to feel the same disappointment in him that Iroh did. And I just love the overall inner conflict raging a war inside him that made the eventual turn around all the better.

Very true. I think it was very important for him to have that relapse so that his actual turn, while Team Avatar might doubt it, we didn't. We did see his journey and when he made his decision, he was stronger and better for it.

It's a battle within himself and within his family. Also, having read The Search, Zuko is very much like his mother and I just feel for him always.

I think it's so interesting when you introduce a "bad guy" with layers and trauma, I want to know what drives them and want to know why they believe they need to do the things they're doing.


That being said, I also love bad guys who just want to see the world burn.

What did you guys think of The Legend of Korra?

Can't remember if I finished s2.

Maybe I watched it too soon. Pretty much after Avatar. I wasn't a fan of the style and it was meh. Definitely felt two separate shows.

It's definitely nowhere near as good as ATLA and there were parts I could have done without, but there was still plenty I enjoyed. I always thought people were pretty savage with their criticisms of it. I will need to give it a rewatch though as it has been awhile
