There are so many rumors and speculations that a new animated Avatar series could come out and I would love for that to be true!

Oh yes indeed! That show pushed the envelope! So much so that the final season couldn't be shown on tv and had to be moved online.

It's all speculation really, but since the shows are doing SO WELL on Netflix...and the creators said they still plan on being part of the Avatar universe even though they aren't going to be part of the live action adaption anymore...well! I think people are hoping

That would be amazing

Plus there are so many Avatars of the past whose stories could be delved into. Really an endless amount of options! And, presumably, animated shows could be more easily made in today's wonky world than live action.
