I've gone and created my first spotlight where I've done a Facebook and Instagram post on the communities about our lovely Chris and board

Are you supposed to be able to direct link to those links in the caption?

If you click on the links they go to the thread it's runtime that provides a smaller link

When I click on the Facebook one, it goes to the "Facebook for developers" page and that one has the quick links, but the post on Instagram, doesn't have the direct links. You'd have to copy & paste the URL's.

Oh I see what you mean I'll check other posts to see if its just IG or I've done something myself wrong

ETA seems IG cause checked posts by others and its the same when somebody else where it doesn't direct link unfortunately - thanks for bringing that to my attention, I'll ask about it

No I saw too bad though that confirmation is that its IG itself that doesn't allow direct links

Oh, dang! That sucks. Maybe you can make a note at the bottom of the post to let users know to copy & paste the links.

I posted it to Facebook and than Tumblr|Twitter was taken care of by one of the other members so it got posted to all 4 formats
