I really enjoyed this especially with it being a war based film

It's just sad what happened to Roland before he was granted a home leave to see Vera It was touching. I did cry a little.
Just super realistic acting.

I agree with you there, Vicki. A lot of the times I feel like war-based films drone on and sometimes don't feel engaging. But this pulled at my little heart strings.

That's the thing with me, I don't usually like war movies. I mean it's not a movie that I'd go line up for at the cinema. But this one got me curious. As long as the SL is good, I'll watch.

Same with me, not really into war movies, but depending on the storyline I like them sometimes. And the trailer really made it seem like a great movie

The trailer is what makes me want to watch. I not only don't like war movies - I also hate movies set in that time period. I don't know but anything set between 1750 - 1980 just really doesn't interest me much. The other time periods are fine though

Plus I kinda like Alicia Vikander too and I agree, the trailer was enough to keep me interested.

Kit seems to be attracted to historical pieces.

I love that gif. Thanks, Lindsay!

He does an amazing job with historical movies.... but I'd love to see him in more modern roles (like in MI5/Spooks)

I've seen Spooks. That movie bored me to death. But yeah, I'd like to see him in more modern roles after GoT.
