Everybody was so appalled with that ending that I think right after the show ended, the complaints were everywhere. I know I bitched about it for weeks (still do when I think about it)

Exactly!! I don't mind complaining about things in the show, like you said we all had a right to feel like that.
The problem for me at the time was that the vibe in the board was way too heavy... it wasn't fun to be there anymore
