 TBH as much as I love GOT I really hope they get a completely different time in the story so we get new characters, and in that way the show doesn't get compared too much with GOT or else it could fail pretty quickly__________________

I agree although I feel like since it's gonna be a prequel, it will still be compared to the show. I want it to be the same feel/tone as GOT but yes, completely different characters and also they need to try something new maybe? What I loved about GOT is the unpredictability and the off chance that our favorites will die. So I hope it will still be like that but of course with a good script. D&D won't be showrunners for these shows right?

 You know I don't mind having something that will work as reference of GOT and stuff like that, but I'd rather a prequel that had no characters we've seen in GOT ever  And oh yeah! The essence being the same really would be great! *** __________________
