I really like them together and was hopeful so what happened to them was a slap in my face. Although I'm already used to shipping doomed couples anyway so...

Ohh I imagine that what happened between them in the show was really bad for the shippers... because they had the ship for like a few minutes just to have it be destroyed like that

I also like Arya & Gendry but I am fine with how they didn't end up together. I feel like they need to spend more time to be a couple plus Arya is more amazing on her own.

I'm glad they didn't pander to the Arya & Gendry fans. If it makes sense story-wise for them not to be together, then it's all good.

Exactly. In our re-watch she was persistent about not wanting to be a lady so her marrying Gendry is definitely OOC.

^ I would've loved to see them fighting side by side at least once... the attack to Winterfell was the perfect place for that, since there were so many wights attacking, Jon wouldn't have time to try to be protective
