Oh yeah. She was barely in S8 too. They could've just killed her off in S7 and concentrate on defeating the WWs/NK for the last season.

It made no sense for Cersei to not be in S8 so much. We all know the character was gonna die and her death was so anti climactic. As a main cast since the start, it kind of feels insulting what they did to her character.

Completely agree
Melissandre had a great ending, her arc was completed in a very well developed way. It was to expect that they would've had the same thoughtful care when it came to such a huge important character like Cersei __________________

She wasn't my favorite character but only became tolerable for me because she helped resurrect Jon. And she also helped in the battle with the WWs so her demise was memorable.
