Same. I think that has a lot to do with that season being the shortest so the pacing was really off for me.

The pacing was the biggest problem for me too , but I also think the writing for characters was lazy... Cersei had some attitudes that just didn't seem like her (not killing Tyrion e.g.), Jaime was a puppet throughout the whole season, Tyrion just had a wasted season, the destruction of Tyrell and SS.... the writing was done to make things move towards the end, but just didn't have the same effort put in the characters as it had been done in the previous seasons.

I agree. It also feels like they were pressed for time. Like Dany being able to go to the North easily when she hasn't even been there at all was such a joke, imo. I also agree about Tyrion's wasted season, not a lot from him. And while I like that Bronn & Jaime both lived, the way they lived was actually laughable that I kinda wished they just died. At least they died in battle.

Exactly!! I don't know exactly how they came to the decision of only having 2 more seasons, but knowing beforehand that they would have to wrap it up in that should've make the writers worry about what works and doesn't work for the remaining episodes instead of rushing to add stuffs that just was pushing it... and yeah we get it, it's a fantasy show but inside that universe things should've been believable (or as much as possible)
I feel the same way about Jaime and Bronn surviving... that shot was so badly done... the horse was at the lake's shore and when Jaime fell it was like he was in the deep ocean and then both of them just held their breath for that long distance.... It was laughable and annoying!! Don't even get me started on the magic speed travel thing they had that they could've crossed the country in one episode, but things in other places like Winterfell or KL only passed hours... I really want season 8 to fix those things, but considering that all the episodes had already been written I doubt there will be a change in pacing, if anything I guess it will be worst considering the amount of open storylines that they have (and if that wasn't enough they even managed to open a new one in season 7 with the Golden Company coming to Westeros) __________________

It is frustrating when the writing becomes unbelievable. It reminds me of the movie Gravity. Sandra Bullock was bashed around the space vehicle but when we saw her legs, she had no bruises whatsoever.

Si, oooohhh, are we calling them Golden Company now? I didn't know that. And yes, I think the pacing will be the same considering we only have 6 eps. The lake where both Jaime & Bronn fell looked really deep but then the next ep, it doesn't look like it was too deep. Like this was one hell of trolling they did and I was disappointed.
Julie, I didn't like that movie. I was curious why everyone was raving about that movie but when I watched it, I didn't really like it at all. __________________

I'm pretty sure the guy from the Iron Bank said that they had paid for the Golden Company to come to Cersei's aid, so if it's already paid for they might appear next season.
So so disappointing. I have never watched Gravity... but it's so annoying when writers don't pay a bit more attention to details that are important __________________

I enjoyed Gravity. I particularly like Sandra Bullock so that helped.

I am a huge Sandra Bullock fan, and I've heard a lot of good reviews about Gravity... honestly IDK why I haven't watched yet

^ I think so ... which makes me wonder, how they are going to bring in such a huge force and not have a rushed plot/storyline in the last season... I think it's going to be impossible

I think they will just rush that SL along, sadly.

That's why I'm not having too much high hopes for the season, that way I'll get to enjoy the small things
