Yep. I was hopeful that by Sam telling him about it, it would mean something. Apparently it didn't and just caused everyone misery.

I wasn't resentful towards Sam, Jon had a right to know and make his own decision about what to do with the information. After all he grew up thinking he was a bastard and turned out he was the most important person in Westeros, not to mention that he came from a loved relationship

It was what happened afterwards, after Jon found out, that was more annoying to me. I've always been curious as to how everyone will react to it but it was watered down on the show.

Yep, I think he found out ep 2 towards the end (?) and we have 4 eps to go so I was kind of hopeful there was gonna be something about everyone finding that out.

I really fail to understand why D&D didn't see that? They've read the books and consulted with GRRM. I expected more from them.
