Yes, truly forgettable. If anyone mentions GOT, I wouldn't look fondly at the show and remember those last 2 seasons for sure.

That's what happens to me now, whenever someone mentions GOT all I have to say is that they had great first 6 seasons and then it all went downhill to the point that It's hard to recommend it now

Yeah. Back then I did recommend it to a friend but that was after S6. Now, I too can't recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

It was. For the most part, at least S1-S6 was good and we had 2 of the worst seasons but those 2 seasons were the last so it's still fresh for us.

I think it will take time for us to get over them.
I like the overall points/plots of the last 2 seasons, I just really dislike the way it was just thrown at us __________________

Yeah the execution was terrible. No complaints with the acting though, they were all stellar.
