It took me a while to warm up to him too, but once I did, he turned out to be one of my favorites with his naivety regarding the way people South of the wall behaves

And on GOT, there are so many characters that we'd love to hate. I didn't care so much for Melisandre & Theon at first but then that changed for me. Same with Jaime.

To me it wasn't that I started to care for them, but I like the development overall.
In both Melissandre and Theon I think the writers did a great job, with Jaime the last season was a failure IMO __________________

It was like in season 8 all his redemption and character growth was thrown out of the window just like that, with no reasonable explanation

I was really happy up until that point where he decided to just up and leave WF and go to KL so he can see Cersei again.

I do remember fans asking how the hell Jaime survived after that ep. Like we're all incredulous that these characters easily survive on this show.

 to me the worst part was Jaime fell right where he was riding the horse and then in the underwater shot it looked like he had fell in the middle of the ocean/river because it was so deep __________________
