I'm a stickler for the rules of board games. I'm like Monica in Friends, "rules help control the fun".

An interesting real-life strategic game I am playing these days is going to the supermarket and my allotment and avoiding people.

Same. I know some games have different rules depending on the board (I participated in an anti-ABC thread and they do it backwards instead) so I just comply with whatever rule the board uses.

That real-life strategic games is my cup of tea, Julie.

I haven't tried panic rooms. I would probably love them.

I haven't heard of a backwards Anti-ABC game.

Oh I love them!! We don't have them here where I live, but everytime that I travel with my mom, sister and aunt, we schedule at least one to play We even played one when we went to Punta Cana and it wasn't for a lack of things to do there We're addicted to them.
If you girls have a chance I highly recommend

We have an escape room inside a mall near where I live actually and I don't know why I haven't tried it yet but we need around 5-6 people to join. I'll convince my sister and cousins one of these days as we're always interested to try one but just working out the schedules for everyone. I like the idea of solving puzzles under time pressure which can definitely induce panic. I'm always the calm one and my cousins (and sister) are usually the stressful ones so it'll be fun.

Some Anti-ABC games do it backwards like they start with Z and takes off from there.

Oh yes, escape rooms. I don't know why I called them panic rooms.

I have just found out that there are escape rooms in some towns near me. They're obviously closed at the moment but I am looking forward to having a go.

You should gather the family and go, Lindsay! I bet you won't regret it I say start with the ones with just the clues... and then if you really like the pressure then there are those with actor in the game to make things even more real

I think some brands are called Panic rooms, Julie I also hope you manage to go after this is all over!
