Si, same here. Work is usually slow for me the first few weeks and then it gets really busy and annoying the last few weeks.

Vicki, the gym is also crowded after the holidays.

Amy, LOL so true about the gym being crowded and everyone gets lazy by next month. What we did for NYE/NYD was the same as what we did for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. We usually have traditions here, noche buena for Christmas Eve and media noche for New Years Eve (basically just eating a full meal to ring in Christmas & New Years Day, a tradition we got form the Spanish).

Amy I'm good... getting back to my routine is good, I like it and I'm so glad that this year we also didn't have lots of leftovers or I would be in big trouble

Here in Brazil the gyms are also packed in the beginning of the year, I think lots of people exaggerate during the holidays and they are all worried about getting back into shape... but then just like you said, after a month of so they disappear (I used to be one of those, only started to take it more seriously last year and I still don't like it )

Lindsay it really is annoying that we go some days with very slow workdays just to all of sudden things start to get busy at once

Si, same for me. I started going regularly May last year but I missed an entire month last month because of the holidays. Yeah, I'm used to the slowness these first few weeks but I prefer this rather than the craziness of month end.

Amy, just staying in this weekend. How about you?

I have toothache at the moment, went to the dentist Wednesday for a check up and I have to go back cause my filling came out and I was borderline I'm agony at one point but I have pills to help the pain at least until Monday for my treatment so it could be worse but there is nothing worse than toothache.
Yeah I have a cake to do for a christening and a birthday party. Its busy for the nexr few months Keeping myself busy. What do you do?

Lindsay - no plans for me. Probably going to do some spring cleaning type stuff around the house but that's it.

Vicki - So sorry that your tooth is hurting you Hope the meds help you enough to get through the weekend. Yes they both went to go visit Santa. My oldest child has always loved Santa but my youngest still wants nothing to do with him. If you ask him he'll tell you all about how he wants to meet Santa, hug Santa, ect but when the moment actually came he wouldn't get within 5 feet of Santa Glad that your niece and nephews had a great Christmas as well

I enjoy making arts, but I usually end up procrastinating instead of actually making then So I'm a slow artist

Vicki, everyday. At least for 1 hour. Usually before work. On weekends, it's also in the morning because I hate crowded gyms.

Si, oh I didn't know you have drawing classes every week, that's great. I'm watching some British telly and then the usual on network TV and cable that are still airing. I don't like Westerns but I'm gonna try Godless on NFLX. The only reason that I can go to the gym everyday is because I have one very near where I live + the gym at work is the same as my office building so all convenient.

Amy, I like cleaning. Gives you a sense of accomplishment.
