^ I was also surprised that Daenerys died in the end... but I think that her going nuts made sense, just not the way it was shown

It made sense to me as well but it kind of came out of nowhere for me. Was it maybe because she knew she was so close to sitting on the Iron Throne that no one can stop her?

Sure there were hints of her madness scattered throughout the season but even now with our re-watch in S3, I still wouldn't think Dany's mad enough. She's building her army and preparing for war but she's not there yet.

To me we just don't feel she is crazy because we're not attached to the people she is punishing. Sure so far it seems like she is being a savior but with the masters of slaves that she just ordered to crucify them all without really checking to see if there were innocent ones did rub me off the wrong way... it's like she arriving in Westeros and ordering all Lords to be executed and with that she would've kill people like the Starks, Mormonts...

I agree. Sometimes I feel like because she can, she just chooses to kill. And she is praised for it. Glamorized so to speak.

^ exactly I think she started off with good intentions, but then she was power hungry and then her reasons were just self centered disguised as being a liberator

Granted she did kill evil people (which is well and good) but sometimes I feel like because she has dragons and because she's the rightful heir (because no one really knew R+L=J), she has every right to claim that throne and dispense of anyone who threatens to take it from her. And by dispense I meant to be burnt by her dragons which is barbaric.

Yeah Wun Wun was about to die there but he was so brave to be fighting with all the rest even though he was the only giant around.
