I ship BatCat as well.... depending on which versions.
I never shipped Bruce/Diana much but always enjoyed their scenes, but in Dawn of Justice, I think I was slowly hitting that shipping them status. lol I just loved the sexual tension vibe they had going on. However, I doubt that DC (any version) would ever really put them together.... it seems they are always flirting around one another. I loved them in Justice League Unlimited as well.... a lot of flirtation there. However, DC showed their stupid colors when they choose Superman/WW over Batman/WW... like in what universe does that make any sense? It's just one of the reasons I have zero percent faith in them ever really becoming something outside of the fanfiction world. |

^ I completely agree. It made zero sense, best thing to happen was it getting erased out of history and I really didn't get why Bruce/Diana just couldn't get ONE chance? Great gifset. |

Right? They played up some flirtation between these two in the comics, but it was never official like it was for Clark/Diana I still can't believe they actually thought putting C/D together was a good idea. I have to reject that because CLOIS.
that gifset is perfection! Plays up the light/dark dynamic so well. __________________

See, that's the problem with Diana and Clark. Diana is a character of light and truth, but so is Lois. So anything that is D/C is going to just be a comparison to Lois and Clark, but in a way where it's always going to be a pale comparison...because so much of Clark has always been wrapped in Lois' faith in him, etc. Diana and Clark function as partners who understand what it's like to be gods in mans world, but beyond that there isn't much pushing to make each other better.
Bruce and Diana are always paired as sparing partners for a reason. Despite everything, they see each other as equals and they literally push each other to be better and stronger. And Diana becomes a good contrast to Bruce's darkness, while Bruce grounds Diana's idealism a little bit. And that dynamic is SO DIFFERENT from Batcat, where Selina always brings out Bruce's dark side that he wants to fight against. __________________

Yes, they understand that side as Superman and Wonder Woman. She doesn't bring out the human side of Superman which I think he very much needs. And it's not a Diana problem... it's just so different. With WW and Superman, it's like partners at war. As you mentioned, gods to one another but nothing really much more. |

The scene in BvS where Diana says this line to Bruce is so interesting. Because at that point, he's totally in Bruce Wayne billionaire playboy facade. And he thinks he has her figured out in the same way he has Selina figured out. He thinks that Diana is out for a profit, or she is out to toy with him in a game of cat and mouse or something.
And then she just gives him back that flashdrive, which throws him. Diana was actually motivated by her love for Steve and wanting to get that photograph back, which is totally not what Bruce was expecting. She threw him off his game completely; so much for the greatest detective __________________

Diana does wear a halo, it's just in stealth mode like her invisible plane.

Way too much to read other than going to say am both WonderBat and BatCat
Dawn of Justice even without having rewatched but felt DoJ really gave that flirtation|sexual tension associated to how Ben|Gal had remarkable chemistry. So I would be perfectly fine with it within DCEU __________________

yes, the flirtation between these two in DOJ was so good, because I felt like it had so much subtext. __________________
