OK. So, this next Wonder Woman film is titled ''Wonder Woman 1984'' I'm pretty sure & it's according to Director Patty Jenkins not a sequel for those that didn't know. Also Chris Pine's character remember? Well, if you don't, he died in the first Wonder Woman film from 2017, but somehow is going to reprise his role in this next film. Hmm.

Well since it's in the DCEU continuity it must be a sequel, I just think they mean it's no direct sequel since it doesn't start where the other left off, it takes place over half a century later. Steve may be a clone, or form another universe or maybe the russians or germans found his body and revived him like the winter soldier.
