yeah, no problem on that front although I do have an issue with too many special effects sometimes bc the story itself gets lost, also the acting

Yes agree, the effects shouldn't come before the actual story, they shouldsimply serve the purpose of giving the story a nice appearance. But in that sense they must be good. A good mix of cgi and practical effects I'd say.
