All the news about this has been so... odd.
I don't even know what to make of Henry's Instagram post.I think that Nerdist video is probably on the nail, especially since Henry loves being Superman and has wanted that MoS2 movie, and I expected that movie to come years down the line at this rate, not anytime soon, so he might be putting off anything until it gets into development, which has obviously irked the WB. (I really hope they don't recast, if only because of continuity in the DCEU.) |

The way that I view this news now, is that nothing is confirmed as of yet and this is all speculation.
I was listening to the latest podcast episode of The Suicide Squadcast because I wanted a mellowed down perspective on the news, and I found my zen by listening to them. Personally, I don't think Henry is going anywhere. I don't think it makes any sense to cast a new actor when DC has built lore around Henry as Superman. __________________

I agree. I thought recasting wouldn't make sense, especially since the universe was established around him. From what I just posted in the news thread and from you have said, it might just be negative press/speculation since there's no active Superman projects being worked on and Henry declined being in Shazam.
