I think some people probably were wondering about it because of course Jared as Joker was not well received from a lot of people and than there were rumors of Jared being upset... I think what calmed down everything was when there was a bit rumor about a Harley & Joker movie... which I'm not even sure is official anymore. lol

I knew about people being upset, though I think a bunch of it came from their marketing antics revolving around Joker than anything else. It made Jared himself look bad.

Yeah, I don't think it's official more either, especially when we got confirmation of Gotham City Sirens, a Batman movie, and SS2.

^ I do think certain rumors are to gauge interest or simply because people wanted the movie enough they spread a rumor about it, because there are rumored movies with no confirmations of any kind.
