The season finale convinced me even more that it's the stupidest decision they made...
No one can convince me that was a wise decision. It seemed to only be for great shock value but it didn't even do that... it just upset me and it upset me even more after the season finale... just stupid decision making there...

The only credit I'll give the writers is that this show finished filming way before the premiere so they probably thought Henry Jr. wouldn't be as loved as he ended up becoming? lol

That's a possible explanation, but in that case they ahould've let it be a mystery if he really is dead.
