He was original Captain Marvel but I think the character didn't really pick up stream initially so I think the character got cancelled, and than of course Marvel came out and got their own Captain Marvel character. And than DC decided to publish a lot of comics including the Captain Marvel character however, they no longer had rights to the name. So, DC decided to go with Billy's popular "Shazam!" catchphrase as his new comic book.

DC had the name "Captain Marvel" first though.

^ thanks for the video so happy to see him happy it is true watch he said about superheros and only a few are excited to have their powers Peter Parker and him Billy if billy like PP im happy and of course zac would get the role he is a big kid

I like that Asher Angel is in here, playing the kid part. He is good from what i have seen of him in Andi Mack on Disney. Handsome little dude.
