In that new timeline, diana and arthur have a love affair behind mera's back. But mera finds out and confronts diana with it, who then cuts of mera's head with her sword and sends it as a gift to arthur (she's a full on evil psycho in that reality though arthur is not really better). Either way the atlanteans then declare war on the amazons and in the wake of this both parties destroy human civilization more or less. It's a total mess.
