Well Batman [Other Franchise] + The Joker [S&S] now have OP's

Started a couple discussion but not thinking of bothering with OP's

Additional ideas that I have are:

- Men of DC
- Women of DC
- Animated [cartoons|film]
- Video Games [Arkham|Injustice ... etc]

Now was thinking for both Batman|Superman that maybe just a character thread NO ACTOR ATTACHED for each character so we could have:

- General Batman
- General Superman

Those are the two I can think of related to MAIN characters. I know I opened that how does your DCEU favorite compare to other adaptions but trying to think if my idea here now would be best for that thread or create some General Character threads where any version|adaption is open for discussion

So instead of actor specified threads we have but any version. Thinking maybe the thread I've already opened MAY work too

We had a discussion not even a day into the board and a good few of us felt we should expand it past just DCEU 80% of it will be DCEU

We just wanted to give single threads to past DC material that is huge within "DC". Like Christoper Reeves movies the two main Superman shows. Plus The Dark Knight Trilogy plus wanted to give 80s Tim movies a thread plus 90s Batman was cheesy but loved it

So its these additional threads giving to past DC is probably going to be small where every DCEU movie will be getting threads, plus DCEU characters + dynamics. So its still all on topic but we felt that it would make sense to provide for other DC where there's not a general board - so people may come to the board appreciate the other DC works having their own space on the board

This board already has a nice selective range of DC threads already and it will only get better in time I believe posters will dig the wide range of topics especially the franchise threads. I do understand that you wish for DC to have It's own board though

Gotta make due with what we've got so I'm glad few others agree with wanting to make small honoring past franchises that is still DC that are not within the extended universe - we just want our small space

You can see treat it like a DC thread, and if you have suggestions, it doesn't hurt to post your suggestion of what you'd like to see more of.

This is still a DC board, which is why it got expanded way out of DCEU and thankfully because I believe it will help the success of the board during the times when the film world is pretty quiet.

I consider this the DC + DC Extended Universe, is there any suggestions you have at making this more DC for all acarations?

So mentioned it in that thread but I see that the OP has FAMILY THREADS for both Kent's and Wayne's if we were to speak DCEU and not DC general - do they actually need threads or could they be discussed in this other characters. Or even something like Other DCEU Dynamics|Relations

I feel regarding ALL adaptions than both families would warrant a thread but not so much if we are sticking to DCEU

Additionally Team's related to The Suicide Squad Team and upcoming related to The Justice League Team
