Favorite movies order for me: Justice League - Wonder Woman - Batman v Superman - Suicide Squad - Man of Steel

But, truthfully, every single movie in the DCEU has been great thus far.

With Man of Steel, my favourite thing was Michael Shannon's incredible performance as Zod. Henry Cavill, Antje Traue, and Russell Crowe were great too. The score, cinematography, and art design were beautiful. And it was amazing to see Superman unleash his full power, people have been waiting to see him fight like this on the big screen for years.

Having said that my only big complaint about the movie is that the climax fell victim to "destruction fatigue". The destruction porn was so long and relentless it became mind-numbing. I think they should have removed the Indian Ocean CGI tentacle-monster fight. It was too much. We only needed the Metropolis battle and the final duel with Zod.

As for Wonder Woman, I appreciated that they weren't preoccupied with ham-fisted attempts to set up a shared universe and just focused on making a good, standalone movie. That's how you really build a shared universe.

Gal Gadot did a great job making Diana likable, compelling, and multi-faceted. Patty Jenkins succeeded in crafting an emotional story with interesting characters. Chris Pine is a talented actor who delivers another charismatic, layered performance. Robin Wright was badass and courageous, making a strong impression despite her brief screentime.

I agree with your points. The movie was beautiful, and I loved the way we saw Superman become who he is, I think it was done in a great way.

I can see your point. Sometimes in really long fight scenes, I tune out because it becomes repetitive. I definitely think just Zod could have been just as well, though I'm still happy with how the movie turned out.

I agree with every one of your points about WW and the actors. I think it was well-rounded and very well acted by everyone involved.

I did too. I think the realistic way they portrayed Superman was great and that the whole tone of the film fit well.

I like the realistic darker tone too. I think it helps keep DC what it is.
