Doesn't matter which film you watch, he is easily the best one. And no disrespect to anyone else but Christopher Reeve was just Superman.

Do you want to get added to the list?

crash landing 10-01-2017 02:13 PM

Obviously when it comes to a list :lmao:

Agreed but I think most that consider them a Superman fan related to movies will say the same ;) Henry is great but completely different ascept where can't even compare

eternalfate 10-01-2017 02:15 PM

^ I agree... I think I can't compare Henry and Christopher versions because they are both completely different.
In acting styles, in time era and even by the scripts they have, it's so different.

I think Brandon Routh version is a bit more like Christopher Reeve version and that's how it was intended to be...

crash landing 10-01-2017 02:17 PM

Henry's related to DCEU is much darker :look: plus even what was shown on Kpytron related to Russell's version of Jor-El

Plus I just feel like Christopher is|was like the "grandfather" that started it all - that really brought Superman to live for movies|television. Without him we may not have gotten two shows and few actors playing Superman

eternalfate 10-01-2017 04:04 PM

^ I agree. For the film world, it was these movies here that changed everything... I think even for Lois & Clark it changed stuff.
And you can see how dedicated Christopher Reeve was as Superman.

The first 2 films were just perfection.

crash landing 10-01-2017 06:25 PM

Yea and you've told me that I don't have to even bother with 3-4 :look: and just stick to what I grew up on which were the first 2

eternalfate 10-01-2017 09:23 PM

^ Yeah, it's better for a lot of people to forget those 2 movies ever existed only because so many backstage issues played part of the series falling apart.:( Which is why there are TWO different Superman 2 movies. And both of the movies are completely different.

Yes you have, the other one is the Richard Donner's cut... so completely different.

Donner was fired like at the end into Superman 2 production (I'd say 83% finished) which is what changed the whole series... and the reason for 2 versions of Superman II.

If I'm not mistaken, this scene is from the Donner's cut, when she put together like in the first scene that Superman/Clark were the same person.
