I'm not saying it's a problem with Bale...it's a problem with Bale's version of Batman. That Bruce Wayne doesn't make sense to me at all. He would never leave gotham city like that, no matter how safe he thought it was and no matter how much alfred wished for him to go and have a life.

That being said, I like Ben's portrayal much better, from a Bruce Wayne (actual ) // Bruce Wayne (playboy billionaire womanizer) // Batman perspective. He's the best at mixing all three of those facades.

As much as I highly regard The Dark Knight Trilogy. Ben Affleck has outshined Christian Bale as the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. I put Affleck's take in my top 3 along with Michael Keaton and Kevin Conroy who does the voice the cartoons.

Outside of this role though my favorite films of his have been in The Town, Hollywoodland, Gone Girl and Dogma.

its generally not my genre but I LOVED IT - saw it during my brief Justin Long liking after 4th Die Hard

That was a 2009 inter-connecting Romantic-Comedy. My favorite roles of Ben Affleck are from ''Dazed & Confused'', ''Armageddon'', & ''Good Will Hunting''. He did well in 'Gone Girl'' also I thought. I've yet to see many of his films, especially his more recent ones.

I was so connected to Jen's character - character that didn't feel it was necessary to get married, was going against the whole "marriage" - I loved their storyline

I've yet to see ''The Accountant''. ''Changing Lanes'' he starred in with Samuel L. Jackson & I thought that was good. I haven't even seen ''Argo'' yet, but that film got pretty good reviews.
