It had better times but I still find it decent, and yes it's best to not drag it for too long.

At first I thought they cancelled iut after this current season and was shocked, but in that department the CW is doing a good job, they always give heads up before cancelling their shows unlike other channels (looking at you syfy )

True i just am shocked that its ending before The Flash , dont get me wrong i love the flash but i guess The flash will only end when Grant wants to stop and he has recently said he would love to do another two seasons

I think Melissa contract was up to so she wants to move on which is a smart idea now being a new mum and all

Yeah I also heard she did not want to continue, also she has some talent that is rather wasted on the the show in the end, she probably wants to do some less time consuming but also more challanging productions.

Greetings, everyone.

A friend recommended both "Arrow" and "Flash" and we have been binge-watching during this whole COVID mess.

I do not want to watch every single cross-over show, but I also do not want to miss anything "important".

E.g., "DC's Legends of Tomorrow", season 2 episode 7 ("Invasion!") apparently completes the story arc and therefore *must* be watched. Whereas other episodes would just show the Flash or Arrow, for example, coming into the other TV series for a quick cameo, providing help, etc.

I am comfortable just explaining who the characters are to my family, so no need to watch s1e1 of each show, etc.

Are there any other episodes of other DC shows that I should consider watching?

Concerning your question, I'm not fully sure which episodes you actually want or don't want to watch tbh. The official crossovers that cross between all the shows are all important to be watched and are the following: (You'll see the episode titles in each link)

Furthermore there was cameous by flash on arrow and vice versa in S2 E8 and S2 E9 of Arrow barry first shows up in the arrowverse, in S3 E8 of arrow barry and oliver meet again shortly but you may know these since you watch both shows.

Well furthermore, kid flash lives with the legends of tomorrow for some time in season 3 of legends of tomorrow and else barry once comes to the earth of supergirl in S1 E18 of Supergirl, you could watch that if you want.

I've never seen the vixen animated series so I don't know if flash or arrow appear there.
