Magneto's characterization in The Last Stand really bugged me. As a Holocaust survivor his whole motivation is to ensure his people never again become victims. He wouldn't sacrifice his followers like cannon fodder or abandon Mystique after she was sterilized of her mutant gifts by a shot that was meant for him.

I agree The Last Stand and Wolverine Origins are the worst. I usually flip flop on which one is the worst of the two but when it comes to The Last Stand, I just hate the wasted potential. I love that shot at the end of X2 showing The Phoenix in the water, I still remember the feeling I had in the theater when I saw it. I remember I was so happy and hyped they showed the Phoenix! I wasn't expecting them to go there. Then in the third movie it's all sloppy and halfassed, what a freaking waste. I also hated how they killed off Xavier and Cyclops. In general, I also hated how they sidelined Cyclops for Wolverine in all the movies. I think the best thing about TLS was the Beast, that's it. Even though Fox's X Men continuity didn't seem to mean a damn thing, I was happy DOFP erased that bs movie.

I'm glad the Deadpool films redeemed what they did to him in Origins. I also remember being confused by the continuity in Origins but again, they don't seem to care or have a grasp on their own continuity. I really hope The Dark Phoenix movie makes up for X Men 3 but I feel like they screwed it up all over again after hearing the rumors from people that saw a test screening of it, saying it was awful and that's why they have to do all those reshoots after pushing it back for months. Before all that I was excited for the movie.

I actually dislike The Wolverine more than Origins

My main issue was them killing off Cyclops Xavier's death sucked BUT I forgave them for that one based on the storyline of what he did by surpressing The Phoenix into a mental cage

Seems pointless to redo Deadpool 2. Why just Deadpool 2 and not 1 also? Confused. lol Of course the question is why redo Deadpool at all, but why just 2?

I'll believe Gambit actually being when it's been filmed it's been what 4-5 years since Channing was announced for Gambit - was at least when Jupiter Ascending came out cause remember telling my ex boyfriend about him being Gambit when we saw the movie and broke up with him 3 years ago

Deadpool 2 isn't a remake. It's just a recut version of the movie. Maybe they want to release it in China or something. We'll just have to wait and see.

Agreed about Gambit. I'll believe it's happening when I actually see filming pics and videos. I wish they didn't announce it so early.
