i love that shield, i wonder whatever happened to it?

it's not seen at the end of WW, and is not in JL, BvS, or WW1984.

i wish i could find the Variety article where some WW comics writer says that Ares destroyed the shield in their fight. i have watched WW countless times now, and the shield seems to disappear somewhere between their fight at the tower and later on the runway. i never see him destroy it, and she doesn't have it at the end of the fight or the end sequence when she seemingly flies off the roof.

the shield in BvS and JL is entirely different, and no shield is seen in the WW1984 trailer, or sword for that matter.

i guess once he destroyed the sword, the shield became another casualty of the battle. i am sad, it was a magnificent design, loved the old-world mythological look to it.
