thanks :hug: i used an extension stick to clean out my rear gutters earlier today, all the yard stuff and decorations are inside now, everything i can control is put away. i can't control mother nature...nor would i want to. she is Queen of this planet, not us. we need her and trees, and fish, and oxygen, etc etc etc.

*crossing my fingers that the Earth Mother will pass us by gently*

we got a lot of rain, wind, broken tree branches, and people's trash bins flopping around in the street, and loose yard stuff in places. what kind of special idiot doesn't put their plastic trash cans and bins under cover, in the garage, or tied up on the porch?! it case it has eluded your semi-functioning thought sponges, plastic tends to react negatively towards high winds. #sarcasm

lots of mess to clean up, but thankfully no damage or major flooding. the storm will be pretty far way by Monday, and just rainy weather.

you wouldn't believe how many people in my neighborhood, were out today looking for their plastic trash bins and lawn furniture. smh. my porch chairs were inside and all yard stuff put away. i use my brain for more than a sports hat rack. lol
