so i take it, there is definitely a 9th film coming, at the very least? the bad person at the end of F8 needs to be dealt with.

Yes, a 9th and 10th one. And then, I believe that will be the end of the franchise.

I haven't seen the 8th one yet, so IDK anything about the bad guys...

i thought F8 was excellent, everything you watch F/F for (minus Paul Walker of course, rest in peace) plenty of action and ridiculous stunts and sets, new bad guy who messes with the gang hard, and well paced.
