i love the F/F series with the exception of 3, and seriously wish they would've ended it with 7, with Dom and Brian driving off in different directions, the beautiful sunset so symbolic, and Brian going to be with Mia and family. all's well that ends well. 7 is such a longstanding number of finality and closure.
FF8 pretty much left me cold, no Brian, no Mia, no Gisele, no Han, really no theme of family, just a bunch of mindless action and another pointless death. ugh. i think i'm going to leave my FFness at 7 films, and forget F8 exists, or the upcoming 9. rest in peace, Gisele and Han. rest in peace, Paul Walker |
