Justice League has just gone over $615million worldwide boxoffice!

Justice League is now sitting at just over $625mil, $216mil domestic and $409mil overseas boxoffice, a success in my book, all things considered, though i thought it would hit the billion mark. i think the full version would have done quite a bit more boxoffice business, than the max-screens cut down version Warner Bros erred in putting in the theaters, tbh. i did go see it three times now, and am waiting for the blu-ray Extended Cut!

even though i have minor quibbles with JL over deleted scenes and shorter runtime, i still had an enjoyable time at the cinema and highly recommend seeing it before it leaves the theaters. you'll like it!

some superhero news

there is quite some talk now that WB will release a Justice League Extended Cut, much the same as the BvS Directors Cut. while i much prefer the mythical Zack Snyder Cut see the light of day, a JL Special Edition will do just fine...for now.

Marvel is in post-production/reshoots for it's first female superhero, Captain Marvel, and her awesomeness will be hitting theaters in March 2019. i still want that often talked about Black Widow solo film, or even a Black Widow/Hawkeye Teamup film!

Avengers Infinity War went over $2 Billion Dollars Worldwide Boxoffice yesterday, and that is great news for all superheroes, studios, brands, genders, ethnic-heroes, young and older, more money means more interest from studios in putting out genre types that appeal to audiences of every type, gender, and diversity. support your heroes by going to the theater!

i have seen Antman and The Wasp twice now, a week apart, and it really is a fun, family-centered, comedic, action-filled superhero romp, with a crazy shocking mid-credits scene! c'mon Captain Marvel in March 2019, and Avengers 4 in May 2019!
