And she knows how to take care of the children while at times showing who's boss....

I especially love how she is with Mick now though because I believe her way of bossing Mick around in season 2 wouldn't have lasted long.

So I think the more she spent with the team, the more she learned everyone ways and begin trusting her team a bit more and they all respect her as their leader! So it all works and comes full circle.
