I think without T-Bag... Michael plans wouldn't have went as perfect as it went.

I think he needed everyone he had... probably like one or 2 people weren't needed but I felt that the main ones needed were Sucre, T-Bag and Abruzzi.

I'll explain why.

Sucre was the cellmate... so you needed his approval to not mess up the plan and be on the lookout so luckily he was a great cellmate.
You needed T-Bag to do the dirty work that other teammates were too naive to do.

You needed Abruzzi to stop Michael and T-Bag from killing each other. And really putting T-Bag in his place for the most part.

We all know that Sara was needed to keep the door unlocked.

^ I think the Riot episode is a perfect example of it... I felt so bad for the officer who T-Bag killed... however, letting the officer walk would have been a mistake since he would have told... I don't care what he said, ultimately the officer would have told what the escape plan was and everything would've went wrong.

So, T-Bag was there to do the dirty work.

every single I watch it - I do agree wth T Bag's decision even if it totally sucked. Sometimes dirty jobs are needed and they couldn't take the risk of the guard telling Bellick etc of the escape plan
