I don't really ship them and I didn't know Princess Margaret had a relationship with the King's equerry. And this was probably public knowledge too back then given that they do see each other a lot.

Indeed. I am not a huge fab of them either, I still believe that Margaret did this to go against her family. Because at the end, he had to go and she didn't risk anything to fight for them.

I'm not a huge fan either but I do find it interesting, moreso because I am interested in finding out why the attraction is.. because so far it's mostly a forbidden love and I feel like she likes being the one who does the 'forbidden stuff' and not Elizabeth f.e.

Well, that was what bothered me about the whole thing.
I liked the two of them together, sure :nod:
I wouldn't have minded had they stayed a couple :nod:
But here they are, in this situation, she stays true to him for two freaking years. Then they find out they still can't be, unless she makes a huge sacrifice. And then she isn't willing to make that sacrifice for him and just let's him go :shrug:
That's enough for me to absolutely like them, but not ship them :nod: :)

Exactly my thoughts. At the end it seems it was just a game to her.

I guess Margaret chose duty over love and stay with the family and not lose the money and the title. She could have easily just chosen Peter but she didn't. I have a feeling that her mother, grandma & sister really sat down and talked to her about her future if she chose Peter.
